I’m 46 years old, born in Rustenburg, SA – was raised in Carletonville and now call Jeffrey’s Bay my home. I have a qualification in IT, but I got “gatvol” a few years ago and decided to travel and worked on a Cruise Ship in the USA & Caribbean and when I came back I lived in Botswana for a while.
My passion is writing, photography, people, travelling, and experiencing cultures – and what better way of doing just that than to explore the parts of YOUR COUNTRY you’ve only seen on the Weather Report at your own pace!

I have come to the realisation, so far, on my travels is that everywhere is the same, it just depends on the community and what the community does and does not allow – community is of utmost importance.
My aim is to promote places and the people who provide affordable accommodation to middle class bordering on broke ARTISTS who have the travel bug. Good food, accommodation, entertainment and guidance to the OFF THE BEATEN TRACK GYPSY – like me.
